Has anyone heard if the nookies are in tidewater on the Necanicum yet? I took my wife down there a couple of weeks ago and taught her how to bobber fish. I saw lots of silvers and jacks rolling but no chinook. Usually by now tidewater is loaded with nookies. Also, I heard a rumor that the ramp at Johnson sand and gravel on the Necanicum is no longer available for us driftboaters to use. You used to be able to buy a yearly pass for $30.00. I heard the place got sold and they closed the ramp. Is this true? If so where is the best place to take out if you put in at Cloutrie Creek?
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Theres no nookie like Chinookie.

Most of the run has gone up. Lots of darkies up the river now.
As far as I know, the take out is still available. They did change owners though.
Id stop by and ask, maybe I'll do that Sunday. Heard that rumor before and found it not to be true, so it's new news if it is closed.
They have changed it a bunch.
I'll call and find out.

Jen,
Thanks for the post. I also have a contact in Seaside who lives on the Necanicum. I'll try and call him and find out what is going on.
