So i was told someone may know here, but i was trying to find the answer to the question of how bluegill were introduced to the nw i have a lil wager going and i was wondering if anyone had a answer

You might want to pickup a copy of Ben Hur Lampan's book "The Coming of the Pond Fishes". Lampan was a writer for the Oregonian. In his book I believe he mentions that following the close of the World Expo Fair, here in Portland in 1905, the entire exhibition of warmwater gamefish was supposedly released in local waters. I seem to remember mention of Guiles Lake as the release site which wasn't far from the Expo site near the old Montgomery Ward building. An ensuing flood, common in those days, could have dumped them in the Willamete River. I have a copy of the book coming and will research it further when it arrives.
