any reports on Nehalem, T-Bay, or Siletz? I am going tomorrow and trying to decide which one to hit. Any help with the current status would be much appreciated! If you do not want to share with everyone please email me. thanks

There are fish in all of them, but the bite has been erratic; good break out bites happening in isolated areas but mostly slow elsewhere. The small shot of rain should help perk up the bite a little. I personally would prefer upper T-Bay or the lower Trask, or Wilson, because they have later runs thus usually fresher brighter fish. The Nehalem and Siletz you mentioned will likely have less pressure though. - RT

Fished the jaws at Nehalem today again. Strong tide, needed a 12oz cannonball. Not a finny creature touched my offering. I heard a report that only 3 fish were checked in Garibaldi from the Ghost Hole crowd. Last Saturday, the ODFW lady told me that 12 chinook were taken at the jaws. So I figured if I just stuck it out on the Nehalem I would hit a bite eventually, not to mention some good crabbing.

Question to you knowledgeable folk out there. If the tide is really strong at the jaws, would it be better to follow the incoming up to Wheeler?
