Anyone been there recently, or heard of any anything?

Fished Lenice Friday through Sunday of last week. Fishing was fairly slow scratching out 3 to 4 a day on chronomids and ostrich nymphs. Fishing after dark and before dawn with small midge emergers worked for some.

The wind was brutal all three days. But that is eastern Washington in the spring.

Well, I went and here's what I saw: This was Friday afternoon. About 13-18 tubes/pontoons/prams on the water throughout the time I was there. Most guys seemed to be catching fish, with a mixture of choronomids and trolling.

I caught fish using both methods. Water temp was 62. I was surprised it was that warm, although that is just the surface, of course.

I hadn't been there in about two years: They graveled the path in, and even put a switchback in the steep part right by the lake. Very nice: Good work WDFW!!
