Where to go Fly Fishin on Friday?

You mentioned in a thread on the main board something about taking your drift boat to Woods. If you are over that way come up to Hebo Lake. I will be camping up there and there just planter trout but still fun to catch.

I would guess that I don't need the DB for that lake? Maybe just a float tube?

Float tube is perfect for Hebo. I'll be using a pontoon. According to the ODFW stocking schedule it should have been stocked this week.

Town lake outside of Woods is also an option.

Well, I ended up going up to Laurance lake on Mount Hood with the float tube. Was slow all day until that last hour of daylight (as usual). Caught a bunch of 6-8", and one in the 12-13" range. Very feisty! I think they were all native Cutts. Beautiful day up there!

I really like Laurance. Kinda surprised the road was open this early (snow).
