willamette river at parks and boat launches. A great smallmouth river.

Sauvie's Island, all along the Willamette and Columbia. I like the Columbia up near Cascade Locks through the Dalles. Almost any backwater sloughs. Suggest going to a Oregon Bass and panfish club meeting and talking to the members.

If you feel like driving an hour east theres some great smallie fishing off the bank if you cover ground :grin:

Just about anyplace there's a bridge or highway adjacent to the river(s), there's rip-rap. :yay: Smallmouth magnet. Not much fun to scamper up and down and along, so be careful. :angel: If the current and wind aren't too high, a whacky rigged 3" or 4" Senko is killer. :smash: C&R, Steve
