Tying Roundtable - July 6th 7PM RIVER CITY

So I am working on our next roundtable and I learned a new bug that I am excited to share. :grin:
This time our host will be none other than Ifish sponsor Don Nelson of River City Fly Shop. :applause: Don has gratiously offered the place where he and his club meet (Stew I believe you know what I am talking about). He has also decided to join us and tie himself. This should be another fun time had by all. :dance:
What I need to know is who's in for #2? Please post you responses so I cna keep track. The dates are still up in the air, but we're looking at mid May during the week. Let me know if you have suggestions on a certain night as well.

I will set the date for the roundtable the week of the 15th with Don and get back to all of you as soon as possible.
We may also have room for more people after Don lets me know some of the logistics.
One more question, what do you think about a psuedo potluck?

Plem, I was going to leave you out of cooking and/or bringing anything. I don't think people would come back to another roundtable after you gave tehm food poisoning!

I was thinking that last time we had pleanty of beer and wine, but some snacks would have been nice. If everyone agrees then we can all bring a little something. The more I do this deal the better it will get!

So now it's flies, lies, beers and a snack....

I am still working on a date and I appologize for the delay. I shoul dhave something more locked down this week. :eek: I have just been pulled in 40 other directions with a move and new pup, etc. I haven't even been able to wet a line in a 3 weeks! I'm jonesing! :pray:

This is a perfect beginners forum as well. You'll have to just pay attention to the guys who know what they are doing (which I am not one of).
Meskel, I should have known that this is on your anniversary being I was you best man and am your brother but I was enjoying the adult beverages that day if you remember. I believe I was put in a cab early....

Very nice! The more guys we get the better it is! The main thing you need to bring is your vise and tying tools/materials. Everyone shares different patterns and favorite bugs etc. It'll be fun! :cheers:
