I am headed out sturgeon fishing on Saturday with some friends and I was just wondering if there are any spots around bonneville to catch some bass

There's a nice backwater area a few miles above Cascade Locks. Type Cascade Locks into Mapquest, zoom in, and you'll see it. Also, around mile marker 58 you can park on the north side of the freeway and hike down to some good areas.
