Dear readers,
You know, I started this site, scrounging for fishing information, and feeling awful if I couldn't provide enough.
Now I can take the weekend off, not even WORRY about the site, come back home and find all kinds of up to date fishing info!
I would like to take a minute to thank R.T. I think we all should. The time he puts in here is out of the kindness of his heart, and his enthusiasm for sharing what he has learned.
I would also like to thank Marie of Tillamook Bait Shop and Marty of Gone Fishin Guide Service.
They both provide excellent, informative and no hype fishing reports. Look at em both, they say... fishing is slow! It is! Not, Gee Guys.....fishing is great, come on down! Nope, they tell it like it is... I appreciate that because that is what I wanted Ifish to be!
YAY!
Thanks so much guys! All of you, and all of you readers too. The ones who take kids fishing, the ones who want to get out there and do something about increasing our fishing populations. The ones that continue to battle for positive legislation.
I want to thank the people who send me pictures of little kids catching fish. The joy on their faces!
I just came home and was so pleased by what I see! I started this site, but without all of you, it would be nothing!
Thanks!

You have started a really good thing here. I've only met a handful of people on this board but it seems like a lot more. When I'm out fishing I find myself looking for the "ifish.net" stickers on passing boats or cars. My hats off to everyone that contributes to the positive participation on this board. See ya on the river.

Yes, Jen. Thanks. Thanks to RT and all others. Through Ifish, fishing has become the community it is meant to be.

Jen,
The sign of a great leader is the ability to delegate well....What can I say? With RT, you have the best of any board I frequent. As you know I live and guide in Washington but sure do love reading how you guys are doing down there.

Hope this continues to be fun for you and
RT

Hey, where did everyone put their IFISH decals? I saw probably 400 boats this weekend while driving about the coast and didn't see one. I am just curious as to where everyone has been putting theirs.

Jen and RT,
You guys do a great job and this board has really given me a sense of connection with many fisherman out there. I also look for the ifish sticker on boats while I'm out there. My two are on the side of my green drift boat with Wet Willy on the side. I'll be out in front of Memaloose this weekend looking for you all...

Jennie,

I agree with you about the honest fishing reports. Fishing isn't always RED hot. No, fishing is usually very slow. Alot of factors go into a "catching day"..agree?

Last month I received an e-mail from a very upset fisherman. He blasted me for not telling the truth about fishing. I felt really hurt that he would acuse me of lieing to the world. I have always told it like I see it. Not everyone will have the same out-look on the fishing reports, I know that!

I figure to lie will only get you in hot water. It will catch up with you sooner or later. Its not worth it.

I pride myself in giving up -to - date reports and most of my information comes from the guy whose fishing that day. Or from me when I get a chance to get out.

Sounds like the ones who get a fish for the day are real lucky. And for the ones who have the secret sauce with them. Good luck.

Also thanks to YOU Jennie, and your wonderful web site, we can all learn something about fishing. I wouldn't be here if I didn't love to get out and fish. I'm still trying for my 2000 Chinook. Wish me luck.

Once again thank you.

The Ifish community has definetly grown over the last year. I remember the first discussion board and the few messages posted, seemed not to much changed from day to day. Well, Jennie never let up. She kept plugging away and some other hard core addicts like RT started posting. And like they say, the rest is history.

Thanks Jennie for providing such a great clean site and for the diehards like RT and others who keep us coming back. Ifish is always the site I check first when looking for new reports and info.

I'd like to make an early new years resolution. To post more fishing reports and informative messages in the coming year.....the year starts tomorrow.

I'd also like to challenge all the lurkers out there to start posting. The people who never post and just gather info for nothing. You know who you are! Come forward and confess, start posting and sharing.

thanks Jennie,

Hook

I just recently found your fine board and just wish to say you are doing a fantastic job. You have a lot of knowledgeable people making posts and that is proof of your success. I agree with you about the fun of introducing kids to fishing. My boy loves it and the other day I let some kids learning to cast fight a few fish on my rod and their smiles were better than the fishing.

Can't decide where to put my IFISH sticker on my boat. Any suggestions? I'll be in T-Bay tomorrow, all by my lonesome. If I see any other stickers I'll come by and say hello. Perhaps even beg for doughnuts. Ok, I won't beg for doughnuts.

Hoping for Chinook to come on in from La Pacifica...

Jen, RT, Marie, Fellow Ifishers,

This board ROCKS! http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

A couple of years ago I was new to fishing the coast http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif. Because of this board I have traveled, fished and met people that I just may not have had this board not been available. I am so greatful for your concerted efforts.

I pledge to post up to date reports as soon as possible and I challenge those of you out there who may not have taken time to do the same to get down to business. If you have found just one post here beneficial you owe it to the Ifish community to contribute.
Don't be bashful, if anybody gives you a hard time that's just paying your dues. We all have fun in here and nothing is taken too seriously http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

My thanks to all who contribute, my challenge to those who have yet to disclose.
