Hagg Lk this last Sunday

Decided to hook upto the Crestliner and take my very fishing tolerate wife and the girls out to Hagg for a picnic on the water.
Holy smokes what a mess it was this weekend. Is everybody out there idiots?!?!? Took me a hour just to trailer the boat. Did meet troutmiester out there though. Wish we could've chatted longer.
Didn't fish, just bouy'd up in a windless cove and enjoyed the sunshine. Might have to con Roger into going back on some early morning, just have to remember to be taking out by noon. Never want to be be caught up in that kind of mess again.

When the Coors lite is flowing that ramp can be "entertaining". I won't go on weekends which means I don't fish "Hogg Pond" very much. I hope the relaxing time on the water made up for the boat ramp frustration. I'll bet it was nice up there!

yes hagg lake can be quite the mess.... to close to the city and it has always got alot of hype for being a hotspot even though its been unproductive.... off the shoreline and hangin from a boat.

Don't give up on Hagg! Just go early. Out by noon and it's not so bad.
