Hey thanks BuKuBass... that site is incredible..... so much to take in, I think im going to have to make some investments if i wanna get serious with this bass idea. I do believe it will be worth it.

It was not too big but its a start.... trully has me fired up to get into it. I like the way they fight. I dont even know how i got him in the side of the mouth but it was a lucky land.... he sure made my ultra light flex. This lure i used was a blue fox vibra spinner and i dont know if this is even a common lure used to catch these guys but it worked. http://i3.tinypic.com/wcb77c.jpg

Don't kid yourself with having to spend a ton of money on a rod. Yes, sensitivity can increase alot when spending more money but you can read your line and feel alot on some cheaper rods. Check out Bi'mart, search the racks, find a good 7 footer and your set. I personally love fishing soft baits, lizzards, worms, senkos,. My ultimate favorite, topwaters. For that latter, I prefer a stiffer stick with about 20% tip. Cast'em far and get good action with little effort. Once you have good topwater bite, it's the only way you'll want to catch 'em. Nothing like a 5 lb bass blowing up on a top water when bassin'.
