Howdy, I'm sorta new to this forum. I am jest getting back into fishing after moving to the N.W. a few years ago, and I'm not used to fishing in rivers and streams. Most of my experience is lake fishing back in the midwest. My prefered method for the N.W. is to flyfish. I drove past Eagle Creek near Estacada the other weekend. Looked like it may be a nice trout fishery. Anyone fly fished it for trout? I'm looking for some good metro PDX spots to hit after work during the week.
Cheers

Not many trout in it. Most of the fish would be smolt. Hiking above the hatchery will get a few. Better fishing on the tribs. above Estacada.
