anybody going to try warmsprings this weekend?

I see that the water is still way up but it is dropping. anybody gonna make the run to the opening of the warmsprings area this weekend :shrug:?

For more years than I can remember I have done a Crooked/Mecca trip on the Friday/Saturday opener. Always one of my favorite fishing weekends. On Friday have a big breakfast in Madras, fish the Crooked until dark, great dinner in Prineville, spend the night at mecca and fish the Deschutes on Saturday. Not this year. Crooked is totally out and the D is well over 7000 cfs. I know a few spots on the D which will fish at that level, but compared to the $70 cost of gas for the trip, I will just wait for better conditions.

I agree with you on that PTS, although I do enjoy breakfast at The Stag!

Yes! Fisjhing could suck but I know a couple nut cases that want to float. What do you think the gas bill will be for me? Giant.
