I'm considering a 21' NR Commander in the near future and would appreciate if NR owner's can share their buying experience.

Which store(s) did you deal with? Appreciate some comment about WA stores.
When you took delivery, was everything there? If it wasn't, how were things resolved? Did someone go over all the features with you? Were manuals provided? Warranties explained?
Were you satisfied with the "fit and finish" during delivery?
Did you get to test the boat on the water before taking delivery?
What would you do differently in the buying and delivery process?

We love our NR, everything was as ordered. We bought from Portland Performance Marine (Company Store). There is one in Tacoma. They treat you right. On time delivery didn't take a ride though but didn't need to. Te service is great.
We would buy from them again. :yay:

There must be a reason why there are so many on the river...

I am very satisfied with my 24' Seahawk O/S. Bought it from the NR dealer in Everett. Great experience. They had the boat ready on time and went through everything with me the day I picked it up. Got a bunch of manuals - what you get is dependent on what is coming standard with the boat and your chosen options. I did have a bunch of metal shavings all over the boat but a half hour with the shop vac took care of that. All of my questions were addressed promptly. I did a test ride prior to purchase, but did not have time for a test on delivery day. Best thing is they're ten minutes from the house and near where I keep the boat. If I have questions I just drop by - they're always helpful. It's great to have a good dealer to work with.

I love my North River. I have a 20' Seahawk. Bought it in Redding. The staff there was first class. I wouldn't do anything different if I did it again.
