Hi,
Could someone point me to a place (places) that do propeller repair and repitching? I'm in Albany, but travel is no problem. (except that from here, Phil's Prop Shop on Shasta Lake is just a liiitle too far)
Thanks,
DB

Try Ampro in Clackamas. They have rebuilt several props for me and did a fine job each time. <non-sponsor information removed> I hope they can help you out. Damoperator

Thanks guys. I'll get started on this today. Being relatively new in the area, I know I've lots to learn.

Phil's repaired one of mine two years ago. I mailed it to them, they mailed it back. No travel required at all.

DragginBait,
Hey, nice to hear from somebody up here who knows Phil's. He used to get a lot of my business when in my younger, more foolish days I ran on the Sacramento (Chico-Red Bluff areas) I think I've solved the problem of trying to find the right prop for a 30hp motor on a 1,000 pound boat. It's called new, more powerful engine. I can hang a 50 Honda on the back instead of my 30, I'm only adding 25 or so pounds of additional weight and getting a 60 percent power increase. That ought to make a difference.

Glad to hear someone else knows Phil's and the Sac river. I'm new on this board but live in Central CA and fish the Sac a lot. Phil is the man when it comes to props.
