View Full Version : Need prayers urgently

Got an email last night from friends of ours to let us know their 3 month old is in ICU following an accident at home. The dad was carrying her down some stairs in their home, when he lost his footing and fell. She has a fractured skull and some bleeding around the brain. She is being monitored by doctors who do not yet know if she'll need surgery or not. This couple went through so much struggle to get this little girl in their life, and they are devastated right now. Please pray that she makes a full recovery. Her name is Tahlia. :depressed:

Praying for her healing, and also for the father. I'm sure he feel's horrible. The good news is children are resilient in this regard, and the fact that the bones are not fully fused means recovery can be more assured.

That is what we're hoping for...the resiliency of youth to help her. I've gotten no updates yet, so I dont know what is happening, but thank you for the prayers.

Got an update...her neck is not broken, so that is good. However she has considerable swelling in her face and head, and is having seizures. They think the swelling will get worse until today or tomorrow, and then subside. Hopefully this will also mean the end of the seizures. Thank you all for your prayers...please continue them until little Tahlia is out of the woods. :depressed:

I couldn't imagine having to go through that with my child. I'll add her to my list :angel1:
