Was wondering if anybody can give me a quick report on the action here. Also is the discolored water dumping out of White River affecting things all the way out into the Columbia plume... thanks. Sal

I was up river below Sherars Falls Sunday and Monday. The river was definitely off color Saturday but seemed to be clearing Sunday and Monday (especially in morning as you would expect). The steelhead bite was completely off Sunday and Monday (through 1 pm). Weather started to turn Monday as I was leaving (figures). Maybe having the high pressure out of the canyon, less Mt. Hood melt and the fact I won't be there will turn those steelhead on!
Forgot to mention - water temp was 64 degrees.
