Fished the Fall River yesterday with a buddy. Fished from 10-4. We planned on starting up at the headwaters and exploring the river throughout the day, but we never left the headwaters. The weather was nice, but still alot of snow. Fishing didn't really turn on until 1 and lasted until my wife called and asked what time I was goin to be home. That was at three. Fished from 3-4 without a bite. My wife sure can kill the fishing biting mojo. She just laughed when I told her. Here are a few pics from the day. Oh, all fish were caught on small bead headed nymphs.

The first pic is of a hatchery fish, and I kept it for dinner. Someone was concerned about how I was holding it and a catch and release issue. I wanted to let any concerned Ifishers know, I ate it.

Does that first fish have a fat belly, or is just the photo angle?

Hey thanks. I tried to think were I picked that up , must have been the four years working on a charter boat in high school. All those sea bass. The limit was 15 back then. Oh well, I sure didn't intend to concern some :flowered: with the way I was holding it. If I intended to release it, I would have made sure to use two hands gently over the water. :smash:
Anyway, I am ready for turkey.

Great job,the Fall river has to be one of the most beautiful rivers in the state. Tough to catch fish on.
