The Big Weekend

With a big fishing weekend coming up in T-Bay, does anyone have any reports on how it has been down there?? I have an ifish buddy there right now, but can't get him on the phone, but as soon as I do, I will post report...

Fishing is only fair. Would be better if today's rains and clouds cool off the water a few degrees and it will get better fast. Fish are being taken from the upper bay all the way down thru and out in the T-Buuble in the ocean. Due to so many baitfish this year the 'Nooks are a little more picky in the ocean (bottom fishing should still be good). It's a little better on the bar in the coast guard tower area. Bank fishing for Wilson R. summer steelhead should pick up this weekend with rain/clouds today cooling the water. The forecast is for the weather to return to nice and sunny Sat. & Sun. (nice for a BBQ party!). - RT

[Gone Fishin]

The rain forecast didn't materialize, the fishing was pretty slow, Had 3 people boated one 30 pound nook, coho jack and snagged a sturgeon! Only saw 2 other nooks boated...not much pressure though...
