The prop. on the boat I bought last year with a mercruiser alpha 1, is a four blade with #'s 2184 18. Is it a 18 or 21 pitch? It revs a little high and we don't ski with it much so hole shots are not a big issue. There is a rebuilt 23 pithch on ebay (S.S.) that I have my eye on. Any prop info or number
i.d.ing would be helpful. Thanks.

Maybe a 21 pitch and 18" diameter?

That's an 18 pitch by 14-1/4" diameter (QA2184-18, right hand... QA2185-18, left hand) according to the website I checked for Advantage Propellor Discount Center. I'd be really surprised if you could jump all the way to a 23 pitch. A better start might be going to a 20 pitch (QA 2186 for the same prop brand as yours). Or take the boat to a good shop and see if they'll let you try a few demo props before you buy one to get the best performance.

I think I was looking at a model # or something.
I looked at the back hub and saw the 14.5 X 18 markings so I now know what I got. Been at the propeller web site doing my homework, Thanks!!!
