...On 3rd street on the left hand side, just past the Hospital Hole, and just before you cross over the Tillamook, it's like Red Barn, or something...WHAT IS THE NAME OF THAT PLACE!?

Welcome to Ifish Baja. Can you narrow it down a little; there's a bunch of ramps around T-town. For the upper T-Bay, in addition to the one by the big red barn, go over that bridge and turn right along the bay and about a mile down the road is the large Memaloose ramp and parking lot. Turning left after crossing that bridge there's another way up the Tillamook R. arm, but that a long run over deadheads to get to the good bay areas off the Trask and Wilson rivers. You can also access the upper bay, as well as the Trask R. tidewater, by taking 5th street west into the ramp parking lot there. You can also launch into the slough just west of the bridge north of the main intersection in town, but its mostly a tidewater fishery from there; it's a long slow ride out to the bay from there. Going north there is a muddy ramp by the Bay City oyster place that is usable during the upper half of the tide. Onward north you can launch out of Garibaldi Marina or Old Mill Marina to fish on up the Bay or out on the bar and outside in the T-Bubble in the ocean. Of course there are too many river launches on the T-area rivers to type on here; ask the Guide Shop about those. - RT

Watch out for the man, at the Trask boat launch, went down there last year with the hopes of intercepting a Fall Nook...filled out a self service packet put my $3.00 inside and license number only to come back and find a $15.00 parking ticket and invite to city hall for not putting the date on the card...I wrote city hall and it fell on deaf ears.. so I sent letters to all the businesses that I was going to spend all my recreational $$$ in Garibaldi instead...a much nicer group of people...and quicker access...to bay...still had to pay.

Steve is right. Keep your trailer wheels
within the lines at 5th street too!
