Anyone have any recommendations for a bank fisherman this weekend??? Live in the Beaverton area. Got skunked on the Clackamas 2 weeks ago. Still try for that elusive fish Salmon or Steelhead.

Thanks,

Dave

I heard Herman Creek was HOT yesterday. 2 steelies and 1 Chinook caught by a buddy yesterday. They were very light on the bite, though, and quite a few line bumps. The water is low enough you can walk out in your tennies. Several others were having great success.

I have it on very good insider authority (supposedly not "public information") that they will be severely cutting the discharge from Bonneville Dam this weekend at the request of the USFWS. Apparently some sort of spawning bed mapping project before that "new" run of chinook below the dam gets on their beds. Not sure how this will affect the fishing.

A friend fished Herman Saturday and yesterday. Caught two fish, both were jack Chinooks, on Saturday. Yesterday water level was high, and he only saw one fair hooked fish.
