I saw out last week (last Friday) and it was a bit high. It's not warm enough during the day to get a good activity in the AM/PM. I think, your best bet is mid-day still. (at least as of last Friday)

Just an FYI.....the river just went up ANOTHER 1,000 cfs since yesterday. This brings it up a total of 3,000 cfs from last weekend. Plus there is a cold front moving through tommorrow.
I was going to maybe head out there myself this weekend....but now I'm not so sure. :whazzup:

10,000 cfs, that is as high as it's been in a long long time.

It was high and light brown. Saw a few fish under brush behind grass clumps about 18" from shore. It was a nice day to fish but fishing stunk. The bbq at lunch was awesome though.
It will be a bit before the D will produce

DESCHUTES RIVER NEAR MADRAS, OR 04/08 19:45 -- 7,580cfs. 5,265cfs is the average for this time of year.
