Great pics Pilar!
One thing though, is there any way in photopoint to go resize them to make them smaller? Smaller, both in K, and in size?
I hope so, because with so many people accessing those pics, it slows down the server, and everything gets a little sluggish around here.
For everyone who posts pics, try to follow these guidelines,

Try to keep your pics under 50 K. I try to make mine about 20 ish, but sometimes fail!

Try to post a couple pics at most.

R.T. wanted his pics on the board, but since there were so many, I did a whole page on the net instead. Works out better for those who don't want to wait a long time for pics to download.

Another good way to show all pics is to put on the post, want to see more? E mail me and I'll send um. Or something like that.

I don't want to discourage anyone from posting a pic now and then. And I am so proud that Pilar figured it out! I love people who self teach themselves, that is how I started, and am still learning. (Man, am I ever...)
Anyway, they are great pics, and I love to see em all, so don't quit, just refine!

Jen, Does the server still slow down if only the link to the picture is posted. That way the viewers are accessing the pics right from photopoint. Just curious.

It is photopoints server that is being constantly accessed, but the more people that access ifish, and the longer, the more bandwidth it uses.
It is better than keeping all the pics on ifish, by far. But don't get used to it for free, pretty soon it'll cost you, I bet!
Many services start out as free, and then pretty soon... Whammo! They charge you, sooner or later.
Having alot of pics on the board just slows it down, I guess, (Although I don't totally understand it) by so many people accessing ifish and downloading stuff.
If anyone can explain it better, please do.

Yes, Jennie, Photopoint does offer a resizing option. You can resize to a specific number of pixels, by a percentage, or by set fractions. It does adjust the amount of memory each picture consumes by the amount it is resized, either up or down. You can also crop your photos, and get rid of something like, say... an emu in the background! I just got a newsletter from them today that says you can have your regular camera film developed at 40,000 Kodak PhotoNet Online retailers, and they will automatically send your pictures to your Photopoint account, so you don't need a digital camera, scanner, or camcorder to post your pictures at Photopoint. Regular film will work just fine! At least, that's what they say...
