I recently bought a new 13" smokercraft w/20" transom and a new honda 25 w/tiller handle.
My last boat was a 12' shortshaft with a merc shortshaft engine.
My problem, or maybe this is just the way it is, the tiller handle sits about 15 or so inches above the seat. It's wayyyy higher than my merc was. I just bought the boat/motor last weekend so I haven't had it in the water yet so I don't know if it's going to be uncomfortable or not.
Is this normal or does honda make an adapter to lower the tiller handle? Or is the higher height just as comfortable?
