Just thought I'd give the board some feedback on todays outing. I fished the mouth of the Sandy this morning and it was fairly well silted up and slow fishing for boats and bankies alike. So I decided to head up the gorge to Eagle Creek. It also was slow going. I was able to wade out on the shelf below the lookout point and cast into beautiful clear deep water. (supposed to hold Nookies and Coho) Quite a few Coho were rolling but they must be thinking about sex not eating.... Oh well... its an interesting hole, maybe next time.

Fish have a harder time thinking about both at the same time, as most of us people can do. http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yo Craigzilla, I live in the Beavercreek area
as well, didn't fish this weekend cause I didn't have anyone to go. I checked the damn counts this weekend, I think Sat had about 5000 nooks but only 400 some on the
Oregon side. Mouths of upper cold water tribs should remain good prospects with those
numbers. That shelf you speak of near the
overlook is a good spot. shoot me an e-mail
to Rnewton4@earthlink.net if you have interest in fishing from a driftboat.
