Anyone know of any good Steelhead (Winter/Summer) Fly tying video's out there, or maybe have some oldies lying around that I could buy? I've been tying jigs for about 3 yrs now, I want to widen my hobby and improve my skills. I would also be interested in some Trout fly videos as well.
Thanks
CM

fly anglers online has some good step by step tying on alot of popular flies, and check out the "fly of the week" archives and there are a ton of patterns. - and it's free!
mmmmm.... I've been going around this block for a while and unless you fish with Stetser, LoFollette, Kauffman, or so many others that I can't even name....wow, every fly shop has stuff and great recomendations. I know that videos help me almost as much as guides- you should really consider spending the $19 or $29 or $39 to buy a video on what ever yer lookin for. Guides cost more, and othe than knowing where fish shoud be, they seem to help me about as much as Mel Krieger does. I got a Mel Krieger video on spey casting for $5 that taught me 3-4 new spay casts. :yay:

I forgot to mention, Don at River City teaches a fly tying class. I took it, and it helped a bunch and it wasn't too much more than some videos, and he provides the materials.

What a great site PDX. I like the simplicity and to the point. Kind of like Norm Abrams on the Woodworker. Especially liked the tips on vises. I'm not into tying yet - just getting info and this is what I'm looking for. Thanks for sharing the site. Amazing how much info is on the Ifish network. Its GREAT.
