DOES ANYONE NO HOW THEY ARE DOING AT THE MOUTH OF THE LEWIS OR SANDY ON SILVERS? I FISHED THE MOUTH OF THE KALAMA WEDNESDAY FOR CHINOOK AND IT SEEMS TO BE SIGNIFICANTLY SLOWER THAN LAST WEEK.

I guess I'll just have to reply to my own post. I went to the mouth of the Lewis in search of silvers this morning and it was SLOW. I then proceeded to check out the Columbia city area and found it to be the same. It could be time to move up the Tributaries or make the trip to Tillamook Bay. Good Luck all!

Fished a beautiful morning and a sweet tide yesterday at the Cowlitz and saw very few fish taken. Guy next to me caught 2 jacks fishing eggs. 1 silver taken by a red flatfish the next boat over and only about 3 drift outs in the lines below me. This was out of about 50 boats. However, I did spend an entire day in the boat with my 15 year old daughter...couldn't have had a nicer, more satisfying time !

Fished the lower Lewis and Columbia City area yesterday. I saw three Chinook taken in the Columbia City area, but it was very slow given the number of boats fishing. I caught one jack at the mouth of the Lewis.

I fished the lower Lewis today and saw one jack netted and heard of a few others. Fishing was slow.
