Here's a good warm weather treat for a side dish or even the maincourse
I prefer to take this on boat trips.

Ingredients:

1.lb - (16oz package) uncooked angelhair pasta

1 large green bell pepper(cleaned and diced to thumbnail pieces)

1 large Red bell pepper(cleaned and diced to thumbnail pieces)

1 bunch scallions chopped(I prefer the green tops only, as not all enjoy onions)

1 large can of medium black olives, drained then halved lengthwise

1 cucumber, peeled and quarted lengthwise then chopped into thumbnail size pieces

1 pint grape tomatos washed.

1 pound of cooked 51-60ct peeled prawns/shrimp (shells removed)

1/2 bottle of Johnnys Salad Elegance

1/2 bottle of WISHBONE Italian dressing.

**other additives or substitutes:

marinated artichoke hearts, sliced/chopped procuitto for the shrimp, chopped sundried tomato for the grape tomato, yellow or orange bell peppers for more color and sweeter taste, diced pepperoncini peppers for some pizzaz, chile pepper flakes, sliced radishes, sauted fresh green beans chilled and chopped, and, or sauteed aspearagus chilled and chopped.

****************************
Bring 2 quarts of salted water to a boil and add the pasta

(TIP: Break pasta at 2" lengths before putting into water cook about 6 to 8 minutes until tender..DO NOT OVER COOK)

This allows even cooking and easier to toss and distribute ingredients and seasonings. Immediately drain and rinse with COLD water to stop pasta from cooking, place in fridge to continue to drain and chill, 1hr.

Meanwhile:
In very large bowl combine the chopped veggies, and 1/4 bottle of Johnnys Salad Elegance seasoning, toss...add chilled pasta and 1/4 bottle of the Wishbone dressing, toss....mix gently....add another 1/4 bottle of the dressing and seasoning and fold in prawns/shrimp...chill for an 1 to 2 hrs and serve.

Niiiiccceee .....I can vouch personally for this stuff. I've had quite a few variations of Italian dressing/pasta salad, and none of it even comes close to this stuff. :food:

Thanks for Doin' your part Dan ! :applause: :applause: :applause:

It's the Johnny's Salad Seasoning that makes the difference, love that stuff.

Thanks Fshklr what a great recipe! I made it for my Son's High School graduation open house this weekend and it was a hit :food:. I had never used Johnnys Salad Elegance before and I love the flavor it adds to the salad. Fantastic!
