We are looking for a Manufactured home in the Milwaukie area or Clackamas area. We are hoping to get one under 20,000 in a park. Please pray for us so we can make a good judgment on the right place for us. We also need to put 20% down on the place so we need prayer to be able to get a down payment. We want to get out of our apartment that we live in. We really like Manufactured homes. We know that they do not apprciate in vaule but we will be living there for a long time. Do not plan to move after that.Thank You :pray:

Found a home that is perfect but need 20% down. This home has a wonderful yard for Daniel to play in. It's in a quite Manufactured home park in the school district that we need. It is a three bed 2 bath. The people who live it now have taken good care of it. It has a new furnese and the people that are living there are leaving all appliences there. Washer and Dryer, Fridge, Dish Washer and Stove. It is so nice just the right place for Daniel to grow up. :pray:

UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE! Praise God from whose Blessings Flow praise him a creatures her below. Praise him Father Son and Holy Ghost. Praise the Lord. He opened a door.
We are getting the 20% down from Ryan's Grandparents. I think so times the Lord tells us to wait and see what he does for us. Thank You for all who prayed for us. Please keep us in your prayers so that we will have the money for home owners insurance for the year. We signed the papers to get the loan from the bank. :pray: We need to have 455 plus 175 I think for closing cost. We are hoping that when we moved in to this apartment we had to only pay last months rent and other stuff. We are hoping that we can use this months rent for the closing cost. We are waiting on the Lord for the Loan. If the loan did not go through we will just ask the Lord what he wants us to do next. I am just asking the Lord that he will do his will not mine. We have been praying about this over and over and over etc. again. Just that God would lead us in the right direction. Thank you everyone for praying it will be a long few days as we get this all going. Nether one of us have done this before so it is all a new venture but I want to give my wife a house to be proud of a a back yard to play around in things he has not had for the last 6 years. rp

Well things are slowly unfolding we met with the propert managment today and She seems to be a really nice woman. We are still praying and holding on to that God will take care of everything. rp

Daniel, prayed tonight(with out prompting) that he asked for us to get this home we looked at. It just mayed me so happy to hear him pray something like that. He understands a lot more what is going on then I ever give him credit for.
I know God listens to our prayers all the time and he does not get board of them. When a child prays I feel God has a special place he has in his heart for those prayers from children. Children when they pray do not care who hears them, or if they sound stupid or not. They just pray what is in there heart. I have always told Daniel when he pray's just pray like you were talking to a friend. Jesus and God are your friends. Let them know when youhurt, sad, happy or need anything. God will answer prayers but he does it in his time and we have to wait apon him. When Daniel is in Sunday school and at Awana. I feel he listens really well when the adults talk about stories and truths in the Bible. He wants to read the Bible but he says the words are to small to read. I am thinking that every week I make copies of a few chapters out of the Bible a week and just make the words bigger. That way it is easer for him to read.
I am going on and on. Please keep us in your prayers about this house thing. Thank You

We are excepted into the Manufactured Home Coomunity. Now Ryan is going to look over the place one more time on Monday. Then we will be going to the bank on Tuesday. Just keep it lifted up the the Lord. Thank You

wow. my congratulations too. this sounds like an excellent move for your family, especially for your son.
i hope i don't offend you but can i suggest that you also meet with a financial counsler? they are available and many will meet for free to give you some good advice. home ownership is a great thing but one downside is that when you least expect it, something will break or a new bill will have to be paid. i have found that helping people to set aside a rainy day fund, even if it is a few dollars a month, can keep their dream alive.
anyway, my congratulations. your perserverance has paid off very well.

The home we are buying is not that much. For everything per month is only 645.00 dollars. Right now we are renting at 615 a month and it only has two bed rooms. Thanks for the advice newfly. We already have everything worked out. I have no worries. If i worrie about the things that might happen in the future I cannot conintrate on the things for Today. The Bible has shown me to really on God, by honoring God with the way I spend or save my money, give him his share and to not worry. The sparow does not worry where his food comes from but God provides for the sparows. God will provide us with everything we need when the time comes. I am not saying that I don't need to save money at all but to undertsand to be good stewards of our money. This house will keep us from spending money where we don't need to. I look to a great example of a good steward of his money is my Dad (DAB). He has shown me how to be a good steward. I admit at times I have not been but I have been learning a lot more everyday. Thank You all for Praying.
If the Lord decideds that this place is not for us we will keep looking. Doesn't hurt to look.

The bank was ready to give us the loan that we needed for the house but we had a good roofer that was refured to us from a friend on IFish. He told us not to buy the house. The roof was not done right and it would have costed more than we really have. Thanks to the Lord have giving us wisdome in all of this. On to seeing the next house I guess. Please keep praying that God will show us a new place that would work for us.
Your mom and I are sadend that it did not work out, we know how much you were looking forward to haveing you own home, God has a better one in mind for you.

We found another place. We are just waiting for the bank to say yes or no. That won't be until Wednesday night.
Please pray for us that if we do not get this place that God will show us the direction to go. We are thinking that he might be telling us just to find a better apartment place to live.

No go at all. We are going to rent another place for another 5 years. Then we will have Credit cards payed off and enough saved to get our own place. We just want to be in a safer place for Daniel. This place only has one entrance and has security at night. The place is Townhomes with a view. Very Nice place. We can afford it and Ryan;s Grand parents are willing to let us use 2,000 of the 4,000 to let us move.
