Thanks Bart, sorry I missed your post ; I hope your celebration went well as the spring equinox has passed. Easter is by far the most special time of year to me especially what’s commonly referred to as Holy Week in the Christian community which beings with Palm Sunday. It’s a time I get to take off from the busyness of life, work…to reflect on Jesus’ Passion Week and be with family. My extend family on my side will normally only come to the Sunday Easter service but it's a special thing for me for us to all be together.

I noticed that similarity with the Ostara Blot; it’s not an individual thing but a group celebration I image you enjoy that as well. I guess for you the Nerthus Blot around the 1st of May(?) is next. I was just wondering do you have a “favorite” time, one in particular you look forward to each year? Like I said Easter is easily mine since it holds all the rest of Christianity together.

I do appreciate your kind post sorry I missed it eariler. Blessings to you and yours as well .

rimrock , thanks, our Ostara Blot was a huge success,we had 30+ kindred members in attendance for the Blot and feast,I will post some pictures of the kids hunting eggs, etc.our next Blot will be the Disablot, this Blot honors the Disir (pronounced di-seer), the Disir are the feminine spirits, nature and ancestral, we will also be celebrating walprgisnact, which is a festival at which time we ward off evil.
as far as a "favorite", thats a tough one, toss up between yule and ostara. I also really enjoy the midsummer celebration, which celebrates the summer equinox.
