The last few years my fathers health has been steadily declining,he's is not completely but close to being bed ridden.it's hard to see my father, who was a pretty gruff, independent, old school kinda guy get too the point of being dependent on others (definately not his style). he has a couple health issues that are non-reversable and the Dr's say it's only a matter of time now,my father had a hard row to hoe in this life and I pray that he'll find the peace that he couldnt find in this life in the next.I ask for your prayers for my father and also for my mother to be able to stay strong through this ordeal.

Our prayers are with you...sounds real similiar to my own fathers situation 10 years back. Had no idea I could handle something like that but now I do. The strength is there when you need it.

My prayers are with you, your father taught you a wonderful sport (fishing) that you probably have a life time of memories with him.
God bless you and your family in this time!

BARTMAN...I is so hard for me to read your post, this same thing I went through approx 7 yrs ago. For about 3 years my dad went mentaly and physicaly downhill.
He was my hero, not a superstar in sports nor was he a steady church going kinda guy, But he taught us kids never to disrespect a women, your neighbor, and dont ever fight with you brothers or sisters. He drove truck and ran heavy equipment. He made a living for his family with a "KEY" to somesort of automobile. and one day I had to take it away, because he allmost killed himself and another person. When they get to the point to where your dad is now it puts you on your kneese, I pray that your dad finds his savior, and that you stand with him in prayer and help him in his final journey....and dont everforget my friend that ..the sunset..is just as beautiful as the sunrise...Lord bless you my friend
