I hear fishing has been poor at best on the Nehalem and Tillimook bay areas. I have heard that fishing is hot and cold down there. What is the word on the street? Anyone catching anything. I thought this last drizzle about a week ago may start brining them in?

I fished Nehalem today without much success. I had a late-day trip (clients arrived @ 1 pm) so, I arrived @ 6:30am and fished myself!
I caught a jack that's out on the bbq this minute, saw about 4-5 chinook and 2 silvers taken out of the 40 or so boats working the Wheeler area.
Afternoon trip produced nota for my boat, saw 2 chinook and 1 silver boated.
Pretty slow today...but, tomorrow's a new day and ya never know!
