Salmonator

Spent the weekend chasing salmon and sturgeon sat and today with three poles each day. Mostly just chased the salmon, got hit 6 times landing a chinook jack (little football) and a 10lb coho, broke off an unknown. We landed 4 keepers right in front of hammond including one that was measured by ODF right at 60" (RT, that one hit the pole that was in the holder I was saving for you). We fished everywhere between the bridge and the bouy and didn't see much going on. Of course back at the ramp there was the occasional boat with salmon falling out of it but it sounded fairly slow overall. I'll figure it out one of these years... BTW tried finding some of you on 68 saturday. Actually a friend on my boat used my handle and contacted somebody from ifish but I didn't hear everyting that was said... Joe

I would believe that could have been me. I breifly had contact with a "salmonator" on 68. Heard you missed a few and had 1 in the boat. It was the same for us. I lost radio contact and never got ahold of you or anyone else on 68 all day, despite several tries.

Hi Joe. Keep that holder warm for me. If I wasn't headed for the Pen I would have been there to set the hook. Thanks. - Steve
