very good slider.

At first I liked this way of posting a success, then I just remembered a post by Gizmo stating something about post more than the fish, tell the experience.

We had 5 take downs for 3 poles. broke 2 fish off, missed 2 and boated one. Saturday was an unbelieveably calm day on the columbia. My third trip to the area and the first with no driving wind. Maybe because of the rain storm that just went through and a low pressure area was of the coast. I dont know, but it was very nice not being blown around while fishing. I could go for a few more days like that.

Kick @ss BOE! I'm still looking for my first nook this year. I guess I'm still payin dues from the hatchery springer I bonked on the head with the net this April. He fought well and deserved his freedom. I figure I was doing him a service by making his sex life more exciting. No one can deny that it's better when there is danger involved. So I think fishers are doing the fish a big service by providing that element of danger! The bend is your friend!
