Hey, I am going to be fishing out of Chinook for the first time on Tuesday and Wednesday. I see that most people are fishing with divers but I would like to use my downriggers...so the question is...how deep do I go??

Use your depth finder to find the right depth.Thats the best way.

Jim: the depth you set depends on whether you are targeting chinook (try 24') or silvers (try 12'). Watch your depth finder and if you are using the fish icons turn them off and set it to arches so you can see the relative size of the fish. If you see the bigger marks above or below 24' set the rigger according to where you are marking fish.
