Greetings. I have been introduced to this wonderful forum by my good friend Pilar.
I just wanted to hear from everyone about sightings of my ol pal Chinookie. I hear he is moving around a little, but I really want to increase my chances, so I figured I'd inquire of the masses. So any info you have on location, bearing, speed, size, bait, etc. would be evaluated for content and reliablilty, then taken under advisement.
Good Luck to all!
After all, I'd rather be lucky than good!

Welcome KrystalFlash! Good to have you here. I, too, would rather be lucky than good, because although I have hooked fish this year, I have not landed a single one due to:
1. Rod Breakage.
2. Line breakage.
3. Underwater Obstructions.
4. Short strikes after I got the first three taken into account.
I taught an employee of mine to steelhead fish last winter. He is too new to be good. He is lucky. He's already caught ten this year, and with a new baby he doesn't get out much.
So good luck to you!

Let me correct that! I have not landed
any salmon or steelhead this year. I
have a freezer half full of trout, so I
have actually caught fish. Just not the
big ones!

Happybrew....
Sounds like you're in the wrong boat. My totals this year so far are: Whacked 1 Halibut, 6 Coho, 1 Sturgeon, 2 Steelhead, and a couple of bottom fish, that's not including all of the fish I released. Pilar and I make a great team. Maybe we should fish together sometime.
As always, I'd rather be lucky than good.
