Did anyone fish there today? How was it? Locations, baits, depths, tides, etc. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Northriver, Tues. there seemed to be some fish caught. My son went with four other people and they limited with five chinooks and five silvers. Wed. was one of those so so days, some guys caught fish and others put in there time. Today (Thurs.) there were alot of take downs but they couldn't get the hooks to stick for whatever reason. Out of 20 take downs they landed five. They were at 10 most of the day for the incoming tide, along with everone else. As far as bait I really don't think it matters, they had fresh herring and they were pluging, and runing whole bait as well.

BobberDown,
Thanks a lot for the info. Hope we can find a few biters just to keep us from getting bored. I'll let you know if we do any good.

Today we fished three rods, started at 5:30 am and fished the whole ebb. We had ten take downs and only boated two out of the ten (not good odds). We didn't fish the flood at all, so I don't know what happened out there today. I was hoping the rain that we had, would of helped things out a bit (mabe tomorrow). I'll post more in a couple of days. Good luck!

Fished hard yesterday, 05:30 to 18:00 that's 6 p.m. for non-government types, only one pit stop, results soaked to the bone, one 6# Coho that had a snipped and healed adipose fin and one good chinook that chewed thru a 25# leader. for 3 rods...wasn't my best day on the pond, the checker at Hammond said she had only seen 10 fish all day. So what hours does she work? Unless she adds a fudge factor like they do on the Willamette which is a factor of 10 to 1...will have to watch and judge if it worth it to make the 3 hour drive down there or fish Chinook Landing which is 2 hour and 15 minutes closer...The worst day fishing is still better than the best day working...Steve

Fished the Buoy 10 area Sat. and Sun. on the flood tides. Had one fish on Saturday, but lost it. Sunday we only caught one jack, which we released. We only saw about 10-12 fish caught per day. There were lots of boats with very little success. Pretty stinky if you ask me.

Sun. we fished three rods, and had several take downs but again couldn't get the hooks to stay set. We boated two and released one nate. We fished almost the whole day. Mon. there was a good bite in the morning at high slack and for the first three hours of the ebb. I was told that there were 5 to 6 nets flying at a time for a while. My son lost a dandy nook after fighting it for aprox. 15 min. they had it almost in the net. They est. it between 50 and 60 lbs. upriver bright (I know this sounds like a fish story but it is true). They still were able to boat some fish the rest of the day. Today (Tues.) my son went for three hrs.and had seven take downs on the boat (four rods) and boated two. They left the dock at 5:30 am and made two slides on the Wash. side below the bridge. They had to come in to go to work, so at this time I don't know what happened for the rest of the tide. I'll keep you up to date, so you can plan your next trip to B-10. Good fishing to you!
