ok this is my first post so bear with me folks. but this was to strange to keep to myself!
was fishing a hole on the wilson on friday. i had taken a guy who had never fished for steelhead before.got him set and showed him some things. typical stuff.
then i found me a nice hole. i knew there were chromers in it i could feel it in my bones. wadded out and started fishing.
well here comes joel splashing and singing wanting more bait. i turned around and told him if he enterd that hole id shoot him(the cleaned up version;) told him to go fish the head of the hole. he gave me this lost puppy dog look.
as i took my next cast my reel backlashed birdsnest deluxe! and 2 minutes later joel had a nice 10 pound chromer on ! moral of the story: have patiance,be kind and teach with tolerance. everyone we introduce to steelhead fishing is a plus.
thanks for listening

Thank's for sharing, Greg.

It seems like God has a way of working in our lives that's sometimes hard to figure out. But the end result always shows His grace and love for us :hearton:

Look at the great day of fishing you and your friend had together. You took him fishing, taught him the basics, and he caught his very first steelhead. He'll always remember and thank you for this. You received a message from the Lord, which is something each and every one of us should look for every day.

So now Joel's happy, Greg's Happy, and God is smiling! It just doesn't get any better than that!
