What do you use to pump lubricant back, into the Drive Housing & Stator Assembly.
I bought a Syphon Pump from a local auto parts store and wondered if it would be suficient or am I just wasting my time with it.
I want to change both lubricants myself and have never done it before. :help:
I wondered from those that have done so or are currently changing their own 175 SJ lubricants, if they have any good tips for me; other than have someone else replace it or use a :smash:.
Also I did try a quick search on this topic, but was unsuccessful :nerd:.

I bought 1 of those bottles with a handpump on it.Then added a section of clear tubing to it.Worked o.k.

The one I got was too short to work in the bottle that the oil comes in.So I had to find a container that was shallower.Ended up having to stop in the middle and add more oil to the container. There wasnt much of a selection,in fact I bought the only 1 they had and made it work.I'm sure if I went to town and looked around I could have found 1 more suitable to the job.

You can probably buy a set up made for that job at a Merc dealer.
