OK Guys, lets give it up...looking for help (Information) on which colors and techniques are best suited for milky glaicer water, such as on the Puyallup. The nookies will be arriving shortly and I am chomping at the bit on learning how to fish this dirty (glacier) water. Please help....

Up on the Sandy River when it gets the glacier melt(I've fished it for 22 years)I use a hand made spinner, #4 brass blade and "kelly green" tubbing to keep a 1/0 siwash hook straight.

If the Kenai R. in AK is any indication, and it is, the large chartruse and green Spin 'N Glos and large Tadpoly's work as well or better than anything. That can change with any watershed though but it should be a good color to start with. Flame red & white combo can also be good, as can white & black combo with a bright green tail. Good eggs, other baits, and good scents sure don't hurt either when fishing colored water http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif . - RT
