My wife and I are members of a Baptist Church and we believe in The Gospel and its teachings. We believe that The Lord teaches us to spread His Word. We go out twice a week and knock on doors and tell people in our city around us that Jesus loves them and invite them to Church. Seeing souls saved is a blessing to me and to see the people grow with the Lord is just awsome. I know where I was heading and want others to have the same oppurunity as me. Does your Church Soul Win??

Our church is in a small community with only one other church. You can't pass through town without bumping into either one.
The doors and members of our church are open to everybody. We are very active in the community providing food baskets, worship services, bible study, and children activities for anyone seeking them. If someone wants to just stop by to ask questions about Jesus or the Christian faith, there's usually someone there to try to answer their questions.
I applaud your efforts on trying to spread the Word ibfishen2, because I know what a tough job this can sometimes be. But if we can only reach one person, what an honor to God it is!
Yes, our Baptist church has many soul winning ministries. We also go door to door weekly, and knock doors (fishing for men - if you can't go fishing for fish, try fishing for men, it's even more fun!). We go soul winning into the Marion County Jails 3 services a month, OCSI Prison (next month we have a three day revival in the prison) about 6 weekly nursing home ministries, teen out reach door to door soul winning ministry called SWAT - Soul Winning Attack Teens every Wednesday afternoon, weekly bus ministry (many souls and families won with the bus ministry, probably the most effective soul winning ministry we have, with many of our families reached starting with the kids, then the mom's and dad's accept the Lord). Sunday School, Sunday Morning, Sunday Night, and Wednesday Night preaching services, radio preaching ministry, and on and on.
Yes, God calls us Christians to actively go into the highways and byways and to compell them to come in, and to preach the gospel to every creature, that's the Great Comission. It's the Christian's way of life!
Now I can't possibly get involved in all the above, but do some on a weekly basis. There's some kind of soul winning ministry for everyone of all ages. We wish more churches would do active soul winning. It's kind of like fishing, when you are on ifish, you are passively fishing, when you are out on the water with pole in hand, you are actively fishing. Go out and get them, rather than wait until they come to you. The person that did the heaven post recently on Angler's Chapel was doing this, by sharing to help any ifisher that would listen get God's forgiveness, and to know for sure that you will go to heaven, and have a mansion prepared upon the end of your life - John 14:3.
My testamony - When I was 8 years old, a teenager from a Baptist Church in Rowland Heights, California, knocked my family's door, and invited me to go on the Sunday School Bus, and my family to an Al Lacy revival service. We went, and eventually, I accepted the Lord, as well as my family accepted the Lord. I'm glad a teenager took the time to go on a soul winning ministry that week, and knock our door back when I was a kid. Who knows where I would be if I had not been invited to ride the Sunday School bus.

Our Church belives that all the members should be out soul winning, in the work place , play place, where ever you are let your light shine with the glory of Christ.

DAB, that's what I'm talking about, awesome!!!
Your post reminds me of the song, "This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine!"
Souls need to be reached any way we can, even on ifish.
