I found this recipe on meals.com and so far everyone has raved about it. It's originally for smoked salmon cream cheese balls but since I wanted a spread and can't do walnuts because of the ole acid reflux  I dropped them and the parsley but will add that for those that do like them .

16 oz cream cheese softened
8 oz smoked salmon chopped (I add a little more)
3 green onions chopped
1 tsp worcestershire sauce (Lea and Perrins is my favorite)
1/2 teaspoon creamed horseradish (I add a tbl spoon, love the bite but still isn't hot)
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper
This I use for a spread. For making balls use the following.
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup chopped parsley

In a bowl combine softened cream cheese, chopped salmon, chopped green onions, sour cream, worchestershire, horseradish, garlic powder and pepper. If making the balls, chill for 1 hour, shape into 1" balls, roll in chopped walnuts and then chopped parsley. Cover and chill at least 4 hrs. :food:
