Bob,
I have not been paying as much attention as i should to the postings but i take it from your post that up river bright fishing is a go this season. When does the season begin? I know the heart of the season is when we will be in canada, but i am looking forward to fishing for awhile before we go. I have some friends that are new to it and are looking forward to fishing for them. I have always used Alvins, and Quik fish just before slack, do you recommend anything else? Thanks for the info.

FC I start about the 18th of Aug for nooks at Kalama in the columbia. I use an assortment of spoons and Alvins is a good choice. It all depends on current speed and how your lure is working . Always try to slow them down by tuning them. And at the e nd of the tide try to make them swing faster

FC You could start by ASTORIA BRIDGE 1ST OF AUG. I know the guides do well there. Buoy 10 is good choice too.
