Have a friend coming to Corvallis next week who would like to go fishing somewhere that is wheelchair accessible. Any suggestions? Thank you Bill Kremers

Fortunately there are so many long overdue HC platforms now that I suggest calling the ODFW office in Portland (229-5409 ? or 657-2000) for suggestions and mailout of a list of locations and type of fish. A couple of suggestions: for some good trout fishing and great scenery there is one at Trillium Lake just south of Mt. Hood. A combo of crabbing and spinner casting for early chinooks in lower Nehalem Bay at the Jetty Fishery Marina docks. For later consideration, the best one that I know of for fall and winter is at the N.F. Nehalem steelhead hatchery (the number is listed on the Ifish homepage). Have fun! - RT

I know this information is a little late, but while at the ODFW regional office today I saw a flyer for the web page www.handiangler.com (http://www.handiangler.com) It list the sites with access for handicap fishing. Hope somebody can use it.
