Good morning!

I just want you to know how many of these letters I receive, that concern NOT going into theology, and not alienating people. This one was an alert on a topic this last week that started to debate things.

I'd say there are a whole lot of people who don't want theology on ifish. They just want an encouraging, warm place to go to, in an otherwise cold and harsh world.

Many people come here to receive hugs and prayers. Some of them think differently then others. Some of them are driven away by what others consider "The right and only way."

I know that I still have hurt from being told that I wasn't a "good enough" Christian.

Sometimes I look at people who judge others, and I wonder how Christ truly views their hearts. Are they truly better in His eyes? Because they know the only way, and are following his biblical words and truth? Or does he have sympathy and love, and a soft spot in His heart for those that struggle with following His every word, or battle addictions, or are viewed as "less than" by other "true" Christians?

Believe me. I KNOW my sins, and I talk to my Father about them every day. Our God is an awesome and personal God! I wish we could help others, while understanding that our relationships with God are very, very, personal!

Anyhow, please, read the following letter. It's just an example of what I receive many times a month.

People really love the Angler's Chapel, and feel comforted by our prayers and encouragement.

Can we leave the other to PM, or another website, if possible?

Jen,
I really don't know what should be done or how it could be done or by whom.
If they would do there debating via PM or email.
I loved it when a person could spill his guts
about things that were happening in his or her
life and every one would jump in and try to hold
them up to the lord in prayer and encourage them with bible verses.
I know I could just not read those type of
posts, I can't help myself (so to say) but to read them.
I have been guilty of participating in the debates once in a while.
Seems like there are others that were very
active but are not doing so now for what ever the reason.
Could there be a place just for debate and not
on Anglers Chapel proper, Bet that would be a
big under taking and take several $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to do.
Am I over reacting, If so Just reach out and slap my face Jen.
I will tell you one thing Anglers Chapel has
been a blessing for me ever since I found it.
It is the very first place I go to when I get on
Ifish and spend a lot of time on it .
So Jen, I just don't know how to solve it If
there is really a problem, or is it just me ?????
Sorry if I have caused a problem.
------------------

Anyhow, I don't want a forum on ifish for debating anything, really. Especially God. :depressed:

So, thank you for your prayers to others on ifish, and keep on encouraging people! You have no idea how much your kindness means, here on this little place on the web!

Thank you!
Jen
