One of my friends from Bend Oregon along with his son, were going to join a group of us fishing this week. My friend's son was injured badly during a Ski trip yesterday in Bend, Oregon. He has a spinal injury and it appears he will be paralyzed from the waist down. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. The power of prayer can heal. Thank you.

I'm sorry to hear that. I know a bunch of the ski patrollers and fire/medics here in Bend and I am sure they did their very best for him. Youth is on his side.

my thoughts and prayers to your friend and his son. That's really tragic! :depressed: Miracles happen, so hopefully he might recover and even ski again some day down the road. :angel:

They have come along way in spinal cord injuries. Hope and pray he can be helped. If not he can still fish. Get him out there as soon as possible so he doesn't loose his spirit.

If they send him to REO it is at Good Sam hospital they are the best. My wife was there for over 2 mo. They are very good at what they do.
