well it looks like I've ruffled some feathers,I guess I should have just stayed clear of the chapel like I had been doing,I guess that whole non-denominational,any faith welcome thing doesnt REALLY mean any faith,I guess I should have known better than to put my :twocents: regarding things like we're the only ones who have it right and the rest of you are going too hell.
its been a pleasure talking to ya!!
I HOPE THE GODS SMILE ON YOU AND YOURS!!

You may have ruffled some feathers, But who hasn't ? Stay and keep praying for people. We aren't called in life to beat each other down, but to build each other up. I've seen you pray for many here on the chapel and to leave because your feelings are hurt is to give in to the enemy, because the losers are the ones that aren't getting prayed for while we mope around through our feelings of self pity. Now I am lifting you up out of that muck because I need your prayer for anxiety over my daughter and her teenage years. Can yo help me out here ??

looks like DAB really shook us up. good for him. retrospection is always good for us.
but bartman, i have loved reading what you had to say and the questions that you asked. do not over react. we all process information differently. as much as you want to, you have no control over how others process information. you only have control over yourself. if you act with honor and dignity, you always serve yourself well. you have served yourself well here.
i don't know, maybe we all need a break. but after that...........well, you can not stop people from asking why and you should not want to. questions lead to answers, but the way we all get there is different. and that bartman, is what makes it all so fun.

I think you'll be doing this place a real disservice by leaving Bartman.
That goes for everyone thinking the same thing. :noway:
You are letting healthy discussion divide us.
Do not be scared or angered by opinions. :bricks:
This is very sad news... :depressed:

None of us are ever going to agree on everything, and that goes for the Christians on this web sight. Any time we discuss faith or religion, someone is likely to be offended since they are such personal and sensitive beliefs. This understandable and part of our human make up.
If we eliminate all discussion with everyone that doesn't believe exactly as we do, have we really gained anything or taken a step backwards?
Sometimes all of us tend to make judgements about the hearts of others solely based on internet contact, without ever speaking to or meeting the person.
Don't feel bad Bartman and keep your chin up! I think if I ran against O. Bin Laden for office on ifish, I'd finish a distant third!...............D.H.
If you leave I will be the only odd duck left
Take some time and ya better come back. I think by far the most accepting people of you were the ones having the discussions with you. I was encourage to learn about what you think its really cool all the different paths.
See ya around buddy!

It is my hope in a very short amount of time you will bless us again with what you have to share and your personal path. Maybe you ruffled some feathers I don’t know but I will say I enjoyed our discussions. If the people talking in threads aren’t having a problem with each other and find discussion healthy and encouraging AND they do it in a respectful manner how are they having a problem???
Christians forget Jesus engaged people in DAILY life; He didn’t do it in CHURCH and the i-fish chapel is never nor should it ever be a “church”. It’s for everyone it's about life along the way. Jesus loved people, He talked to people, He prayed for people, He helped people, He encouraged people, He discussed God, He discussed life... If we are really worried about honoring God than maybe do what Jesus did? His encouragement was meeting people in what THEIR need was not any particular one.
