I was sent a picture with a guy in the boat by R.Ordona in a .bmp image. He did a very nice job on the image. I had to enhance the image but we have a guy/gal in the boat. I couldn't remember which font I used on the top fishing the coast so it is a little different. I also removed the corkie from the fishes mouth so fly guys could have the image also.

Marty, Zaq, & other contributing critcs; since I've put in more than my 2 cents worth of opinions about decal refinements I realize I am now probably risking a lemon pie in the face. But as much as I like this decal with the "fish on" I think it needs another minor tweak. It appears that the fish ran around a snag. Ifish members are too good of fish players to allow a fish to run them into a snag, right? Would anyone else like to see the line straight to the fishes mouth? Should be the easy to try, I would think. And Marty, would it be fairly easy to add a couple airbrush strokes in the open area under the D-boat, like by the fish's tail, to look like river water? Do you think it would look too busy then? I kinda think it would look more balanced. - And since the following possible scenario would be NOBODY'S fault, I will gladly take another lemon pie in the face if it occurs (because I happen to love lemon pie - not for any fault). Since the last few decal candidates have had the original Ifish art designer's fish in it, rumor has it the person would like a chance to submit a decal candidate also for BB member's feedback. And most like that fish best. Can't deny that fairness, but I suggest no more candidates than that from any other artists. http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif It will just get too hard for general agreement and we want to get this thing done to have these by the fall fishing season (if not sooner). I like this latest one with the fisherperson (w/ line straight) a lot! We'll see what people think. - RT - BTW, I printed & cut out the 6" version and taped it to my boat beside the 5". No contest. It needs to be 6" for people to be able to read it.

No such thing as a straight line with a wild fish. I need to stop giving you more options.....hehe

I have to side with RT this time, the fisherperson does look good in the boat. The straight line to the fish -vs- the possible snag rap makes no difference to me.
The fish does look a little fakey and does not blend with the other drawings. Since I am no artist I dont complain because I cannot do better.
To much lemon pie will put you in a pig pen this fall RT.

You guys have done a super job. I like this one. Looks like a fall chinook to me.
great job. Maybe a little snow capped mountain, might work.

use the 1 with the almost straight line. This 1 looks good just the way it is.

Is there any chance that the Fisher could be a broad in a thong?
You guys are tweaking this thing to death.

Personally, I think it should have a bass or a catfish, instead of a salmonid, and since I'm moving to the Midwest, instead of the mountain and trees, it should have a John Deere tractor or combine, and a wheat field.

Crusty, I think the Handy quote in your above post applies to this decal debate http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif ? And a little correction; we are tweaking it to life! Zaq and others, remember the cliche' that "nobody can please everybody"! Definitely true. Jen will ultimately decide which we use as it's her website. Whichever she picks will be good and likely will conform to a majority opinion. All lighthearted stuff anyway, I think. Peace. - RT

Doesn't it say somewhere in the Bible, "For God so loved the world, he didn't send a committee."? http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't remember that one Crusty. I do know that He sent both dictators and committees for a reason. Which do you like?

Sorry...that doesn't look right. When a fish jumps 90% of the time your line is never completly out of the water. Don't want one if it's not the top one here. The man in the boat is terrific!

Looks good! I like this one too! Keep in mind, no one else is going to look it over with the microscope as we've done on this BB. I say keep it like it is and go for it. (but then, who cares what I say). http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

moleman I've enjoyed your posts up until that last one. 90 percent? And you won't buy one unless you have your way. That's supportive??

Just my opinion,it looks well.....awkward to say it nicely. I'm the type of person who once my mind is made up and like somethng, (then) someone makes a change I get disturbed. For example;I go into a resaurant and I order the same thing for 10 years, then some goofy cook puts garlic in it...I wont go back to the resaurant. Sorry, I'm just funny that way. I guess I shouldn't have ordered so soon, as not to hurt anybody's feelings.

I think most of us members care about what you say Scarecrow. You too Moleman. That's why mystified that just the change of the fishing line that doesn't even stand out from a radical angle to a more realistic one could be a reason to put you off so much. Go figure.

Moleman, funny thing that you should say that about the fishing line being out of the water.....I was thinking the same thing! Not normal. I was just afraid to say something for being chastised. I still will have them on my boat though, but maybe under the outboard...lol (jk)
