STS books has one. I can't remember the author of hand, but I think it was Dave Vedder? I know Bill Herzog has one on driftfishing at STS, but I don't know if it covers floats or not.

TM - STS is Salmon Trout Steelheader magazine. It's long been a Northwest icon for it's interesting stories and informative tech articles (I will have a fall chinook article likely in the Oct./Nov. issue - they have 6 issues per year). They also have a book dept. that has numerous good books on fishing. Access www.amatobooks.com (http://www.amatobooks.com) - RT

If the Amatos allow a "plug" in their articles I will. Any logo would have to be in an ad.

How did you get a article published in their mag. I am not much of a writer but have always dreamed of a article since I was a little kid....Kind of like playing pro ball http://www.ifish.net/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif.
And thanks guys for mentioning my site to buy books, its the only way I keep it running since I don't have actual paying sponsors.

Hi Marty. Nick Amato, editor & Frank's son, had read some of my mini-tech articles here on the IFish BB and e-mailed me asking me to do a Tillamook fall chinook article. I have finished it and given it to Nick already and he said he likes it. We are meeting again soon to talk about revisions. They normally have a 2500 word limit per article so I had to short cover some tech. We will decide whether to extend it or leave out some lesser important stuff. It has not been published yet. I don't know when the fall issue goes to press. I wish he'd put in your artwork. - Steve

Anytime there's enough water & fish at the same time. What's the summer run timing up there on the Pen? Keep me up on it Marty and would love to have you along. Thanks. - Steve
